Karl Gunnar Opdal – CEO

Karl Gunnar Opdal was appointed as CEO of Edda Media in April 2009. Karl Gunnar Opdal started his management career at the Norwegian newspaper, Vårt Land, as a marketing manager in 1987, a newspaper he would later return to lead as managing director in 1994-96. After two years in telecom, he joined Orkla Media in 1998 and was appointed Vice President in 2000. He became Executive Vice President in Edda Media in 2006, being responsible for four mediahouses as well as head of sales and marketing in Edda Media. He holds a master of science in Business Economics and an executive MBA in strategic management.

Andreas Norvik – CFO

Andreas Norvik holds an MBA from the Norweigan School of Management. He joined Edda Media as CFO in 2009. Before joining Edda Media, Andreas has held various positions within the Orkla Group, including Director of improvement and change management.
