CSR

Wegener is one of the founding members of Fonds Slachthofferhulp, a charitable foundation established for the benefit of victims of crime, traffic accidents and disasters in the Netherlands. The foundation supports and seeks to improve the circumstances of victims and survivors and their families.

Wegener also lends its support to many other national and regional charitable organisations including the Free Voice (a media organisation which strives for balanced and reliable media in eastern European, African and Latin American countries), Red Cross, the Dutch Hart Foundation, Ronald McDonald House in Zwolle (a house for children with cancer and their families) and Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds (an organisation which fights against cancer).

LMG supports the Toon Hermans House foundation which was founded in Limburg in 1988. This foundation houses people with cancer, their next of kin or survivors and provides various facilities to support them.

LMG also make contribution to many cultural and sporting events locally.
