Edda Media is the second strongest player in the local media market in Norway, mainly positioned in the eastern (and most populated) part of the country. Edda Media operates through eight regional media houses. The product portfolio comprises 30 newspapers (dailies, weeklies and free-sheets) and 46 websites. Edda Media’s publications have a readership of one million per week (2009: one million) and its online operations attract 5.0 million online users per month (2009: 5.3 million). Edda Media operates three print plants which print both Group and third-party publications.
